Dear Traveling Families,
The RGBA and RBBA Travel teams are participating in a Free-Throw-A-Thon Saturday, November 2,2019. This will be a fun event that your player will not want to miss! Best yet, All of the money raised will go directly back into our programs; there will be NO restaurant fundraisers, selling items or doing other things that parents don’t have time for. Get my drift?
Each Athlete collects sponsorships for each free-throw made out of 100. This fundraiser is used to work on their free-throw skills, a vital part to any basketball player’s game while raising money to go towards expenses, including uniforms, gym rental, equipment, and tournament fees as well as to keep our registration costs low. Our goal is for EACH player to bring in $50 or more, to reach our goal. Players whom choose not to participate can still join in on the Free Throw skills! There will be some GREAT prizes, including tickets to aTimberwolves game. The concession stand will also be open! And there are contests for parents too. Bring your cash!
Parents:
Please take some time to think of at least five family members, neighbors or friends you can invite to help your daughter achieve their goal of shooting 100 free throws. The actual shooting will take place during an event on Saturday, November 2, 2019. We will also need LOTS of help ( also a GREAT way to get your volunteer hours in). Please let your coach know if you are available to help out. There will be a Signup Genius.
All pledges need to be written on the Free-Throw-A-Thon pledge sheet and turned into your coach by Monday, November 11, 2019 . The totals need to be calculated, cash, checks (made out to the RGBA) or paypal (richfieldgirlsbasketball@gmail.com). placed in the envelope with the pledge sheet, and turned in no later than November 11, 2019 to your coaches or directly to Kristina Clifford.
With your help, this fundraiser will be a huge success, both on the court and off.
