Tournament Volunteer Opportunities:

As a volunteer for the RGBA MYAS hosted Basketball Tournaments, you are playing an integral role in making these events successful. Volunteering for these events offers those who donate their time an opportunity to meet new people, connect with other basketball families, and provides experience in operations and logistics of event management and youth athletics.

The following descriptions provide expectations and positions involved with the tournament. A registration link is provided at the bottom of this page which will take you to the Signup.com registration form.

The registration form will include the general areas of need as well as the sessions available. If the listed position is not available on the registration form, those positions have been filled. Please register for as many sessions and positions you can to help reach your volunteer hour commitment.

Volunteer Responsibilities

1.   Remember that you represent the RGBA and Richfield. You are what our visitors remember … YOU ARE THE KEY TO OUR SUCCESS!

2.   Be friendly and helpful at all times! (Even to belligerent people). Please go out of your way to assist people!

3.   If you do not know the answer to a question or inquiry, find someone who does.

4.   Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled session start time.

5.   Maintain your assigned post/position at all times, unless you are relieved by another volunteer.

6.   If you need to make schedule changes after registration, contact us ASAP, so we can do our best to accommodate your changes.

7.   You must be able to physically perform the duties that you register for including standing for long periods of time.

8.   Uniform while on duty:

o Jeans (preferred) or black (alternate) slacks

o Comfortable shoes (you will be on your feet for some time)

All volunteers are provided a meal coupon for concessions during their scheduled session.
